The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for portions of Cherry and Sheridan Counties has expired as of 7:45 PM MDT today, September 27. The National Weather Service (NWS) North Platte NE reported that the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.
Residents in Cherry and Sheridan Counties should remain vigilant but are no longer under an immediate threat from this specific severe thunderstorm. The warning was originally in effect from 7:40 PM MDT until 7:45 PM MDT.
