Planning Commission The Township of Palmyra’s Planning Commission is responsible for guiding the growth and development of the township. The Commission makes recommendations to the Township Board regarding zoning ordinances, land use plans, and other planning-related matters. They also review and approve site plans for new developments and subdivisions. The Planning Commission typically meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Township Hall, located at 999 E. US-223, Palmyra, MI 49268. RIGA TOWNSHIP NOTICE OF PUBLIC ACCURACY TEST FOR AUGUST 6, 2024 PRIMARY ELECTION PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Public Accuracy Test for the purpose of testing the program and equipment to be used at the August 6, 2024 Primary Election will be conducted by the Riga Township Election Commission at the Riga Township Hall, 104 Main Street, Riga, Michigan 49276, on Tuesday, July 16, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. This notice is given pursuant to the provisions of the Michigan Election Law.
