Robert Kelker-Kelly, an actor known for his roles on soap operas including "Days of Our Lives" and "General Hospital," died Oct. 3 at age 62. Kelker-Kelly, born in Wichita, Kansas, in 1964, began his acting career in 1987 on "Another World" as Sam Fowler. He later returned to the show as Dr. Shane Roberts, appearing in over 400 episodes.

From 1992 to 1995, Kelker-Kelly played Bo Brady on "Days of Our Lives." His "Days of Our Lives" co-star Lisa Rinna described a difficult working relationship with him in her memoir, claiming they "hated each other" and that he was verbally abusive, passive-aggressive and manipulative. In 1995, they won the Hottest Soap Couple award at the Soap Opera Digest Awards.

Kelker-Kelly also appeared on "Port Charles" and "General Hospital" from 1997 to 2003. He reprised his role as Stavros Cassadine on "General Hospital" from 2013 to 2014, his final acting credit.

Beyond acting, Kelker-Kelly was a professional pilot, an acting teacher and held an airframe and powerplant mechanic certification. He married Miriam Parrish in 1997 and lived in Winter Park, Florida, for a time before their divorce in 2013. He was previously married to Linda Rattner until 1992.
