Judicial Appointments
Judicial Nominations The 67th Montana Legislature granted the governor the authority to fill judicial vacancies through appointment. Upon receiving notice from the chief justice of the Montana Supreme Court of a judicial vacancy, the governor will solicit applications from and nominations of any lawyer in good standing who has the qualifications set forth by law for holding the vacant position. Recent appointments by the governor may be viewed here.

Homebuyers Lenders Since 1975, Montana Board of Housing has partnered with lenders around the state to offer home buying options that aren’t available anywhere else. The success of Montana Board of Housing’s mission relies heavily on our partnerships with lenders. Montana Board of Housing programs can help make homeownership a reality for a borrower who might otherwise not be able to afford to purchase a home. Lenders Homeowners Congratulations on your home purchase! When you purchase a home with support from Montana Board of Housing programs, Montana Board of Housing is your mortgage servicer. A mortgage servicer is responsible for the day-to-day management of your mortgage loan account, including collecting and crediting your monthly loan payments and handling your escrow account. The servicer is who you contact if you have questions about your mortgage loan account. Homeowners Reverse Annuity Mortgages Reverse Annuity Mortgage is a mortgage in which the money is disbursed to the borrower over a long period of time to provide regular income to the borrower. The loan is then repaid in a lump sum when the homeowner no longer occupies the home as a principal residence or sells the home. The Montana Board of Housing Reverse Annuity Mortgage program was implemented in 1990. The program enables Montana senior homeowners to use the equity in their homes and benefit from additional monthly income. Census and Economic Information Center The Census and Economic Information Center provides current, easily accessible and thorough economic and demographic analysis, data, maps and expert assistance to meet the needs and requests of the people in the State of Montana. CEIC was established by legislation in 1981 Montana Code Annotated 90-1-109. The Census and Economic Information Center is the State of Montana representative to the U.S. Census Bureau State Data Center network and the primary contact for statistical geographic boundaries to the U.S. Census Bureau. Job Seeker Resources Career Resources The Montana Career Lab offers a variety of tools to assist individuals wanting to learn more about career options. Job Seeker Portal The Job Seeker Portal empowers citizens seeking assistance in finding, preparing for, or enhancing their employment to conveniently request appointments from Job Service offices. It also facilitates the management of their Workforce Case and WIOA Program enrollments, particularly when seeking training or employment support. Career Exploration The Montana Career Information System provides users the ability to explore over 500 occupations. Click on the MCIS logo at www.careers.mt.gov and enter a username and password (provided by your school or workforce agency) or enter as a guest by selecting your town and zipcode. Qualified individuals who are unemployed through no fault of their own who are currently looking for full-time work or pursuing approved training programs may be eligible for temporary income. Montana Diabetes Program
The Montana Diabetes Program is committed to: To achieve these goals, the program supports the following activities: Data and Surveillance of diabetes, its complications and risk factors. Diabetes Management: Increase access to, coverage for, and participation of people with diabetes in diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) programs recognized by the American Diabetes Association or accredited by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists. Evaluation: Implement and report progress for a national work plan through a cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Division of Diabetes Translation. Partnership and Coordination: Provide continuing education and networking opportunities to health professionals with the Annual Montana Diabetes Professional Conference. Partner with key stakeholders through the Montana Diabetes Advisory Coalition and coordinate with other Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion programs to share resources and increase the scope and effectiveness of our work. Prevention: Organize, train, and support community partners in implementing the National Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP). Lifestyle coaches support adults in making sustainable healthy lifestyle changes to prevent or delay cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes. Quality Diabetes Education Initiative: Offer the Quality Diabetes Education Initiative, which provides a self-study and peer-mentoring program to diabetes care and education specialists to increase their skills and provides technical assistance and support to assist outpatient settings to develop and become a recognized/accredited diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES) program. Quality Improvement: Offer quality improvement assistance to health care facilities (hospitals, primary care practices and DSMES programs) to promote guidelines-based care, track quality measures, and improve health outcomes for Montanans with diabetes. Engage community pharmacists and community health workers in the provision of medication and self-management for people with diabetes. School Health: Assist schools and early childhood education centers with guidelines, policies, training, tools and resources to ensure that students with diabetes are safe at school and have the same opportunities as other children. Laboratory Services Skip to main content Laboratory Services Over 100 years of service to Montana's Public Health! The Laboratory Services Bureau (LSB) includes the State Environmental Laboratory and the Montana Public Health Laboratory. This bureau provides quality testing and consulting services in support of environmental and infectious disease assessment and control programs. The bureau works closely with local and tribal health partners, health care providers, and the general public at the state and local levels. Laboratory Services Over 100 years of service to Montana's Public Health! The Laboratory Services Bureau (LSB) includes the State Environmental Laboratory and the Montana Public Health Laboratory. This bureau provides quality testing and consulting services in support of environmental and infectious disease assessment and control programs.
