Pura Vida Miami opened its first Tampa Bay location today at 1038 Water St., bringing its wellness-focused menu to the Water Street district. The new 3,400-square-foot cafe marks the 57th shop for the South Florida chain, known for its seed-oil-free offerings.

Residents can visit the cafe Monday through Saturday from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., and on Sundays from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The menu includes items like avocado toast, salads, eggs, protein plates, smoothies, açaí, coffee, and matcha. The cafe also offers wild seafood, grass-fed steak, sandwiches, wraps, pressed juices, and a kids' menu. Customers can order for delivery or pickup.

Founder Omer Horev started Pura Vida in 2012 as a small neighborhood cafe. The company expanded significantly, opening its 50th shop this spring in New Jersey. Horev stated that Tampa has been a target market for a long time, citing the city's energy and strong sense of community.

The Water Street location, which occupies the space formerly held by Dwell & Company, features indoor and outdoor seating. The design incorporates natural materials, warm finishes, custom millwork, and greenery. The cafe also launched its fall menu today, which includes Steak & Eggs, the Breakfast Burrito, Scallion & Feta Omelette, Fennel Pistachio salad, Miami Vice Smoothie, and the seasonal Pumpkin Spice Cloud.

This opening represents Pura Vida's entry into the Tampa Bay market, with another location already planned for Midtown Tampa. The expansion aims to integrate the brand into the daily lives of Tampa Bay residents.
