The Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) San Francisco CA for several Bay Area and Central Coast regions has officially ended as of October 4, 2026, at 10:00 PM PDT. The advisory, which was in effect from 9:34 PM PDT on October 4, 2026, covered San Francisco, the Marin Coastal Range, Coastal North Bay including Point Reyes National Seashore, San Francisco Peninsula Coast, Northern Salinas Valley/Hollister Valley and Carmel Valley, Northern Monterey Bay, and Southern Monterey Bay and Big Sur Coast.

According to the NWS, "The threat has ended." Residents in the affected areas are advised that conditions have returned to normal following the moderate heat event.
