Hollywood residents are invited to a special community workshop focused on instilling good manners in children. The event, titled "How Rude! Secrets to Teach Our Children Manners," is scheduled for next Tuesday, April 15, 2026, at 6:30 PM at the Hollywood Community Center, located at 1500 N. Hollywood Avenue.

The workshop aims to provide practical tips and strategies for parents, grandparents, and guardians navigating the challenges of teaching etiquette in today's fast-paced world. Topics will include basic courtesies, table manners, respectful communication, and digital etiquette. Organizers hope to foster a more polite and considerate environment within our local community.

Local educator and long-time Hollywood resident, Mrs. Eleanor Vance, a retired teacher from Hollywood Elementary School, will lead the discussion. Mrs. Vance is known for her engaging approach to child development and has been a vocal advocate for civility among youth.
