The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) is investigating a two-vehicle crash that occurred Saturday morning on Interstate 4 in Orange County. The incident involved a 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck, which was towing a trailer, and a 2028 Dodge SUV.
The collision happened when the 2017 Chevrolet pickup truck, traveling westbound in the outside lane towards an exit ramp, changed lanes into the path of the 2028 Dodge SUV. The SUV was traveling in the outside straight lane when the truck struck it.
Following the impact, the SUV's driver overcorrected to avoid the collision, causing the vehicle to strike a guardrail and then overturn into a ditch. Despite the severity of the crash, neither driver required transport to the hospital. Both drivers remained at the scene after the incident.
FHP troopers are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
