New Port Richey lost a beloved resident, Paul Wayne Siegenthaler II, 56, who died Sept. 23, 2026. Known for his strength and loving nature, Siegenthaler had a passion for gun collecting and enjoyed time with family.

New Port Richey mourns the loss of Paul Wayne Siegenthaler II, who died Sept. 23, 2026. He was 56.
Siegenthaler, born March 16, 1970, in Cincinnati, Ohio, was known in the community as a strong and loving individual. He often frequented local spots, including near the historic Hacienda Hotel.
He was the youngest of two sons born to Katherine Murphy Hunter and the late Paul Siegenthaler. Siegenthaler enjoyed gun collecting, playing video games, and watching science fiction movies. He cherished moments with his nephew.
Before becoming paralyzed, Siegenthaler worked as a land surveyor, a profession he enjoyed. He helped map unique vistas of Pasco County.
He is survived by his mother, Katherine Hunter; his brother, Bill Siegenthaler, and Bill's wife, Yessie; his nephew, Chronus; and his niece, Raven, and Raven's husband, Alex. He also leaves several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Siegenthaler was preceded in death by his father, Paul Siegenthaler; his stepfather, Walter Jones; his grandparents, Bill and Cecil Murphy, and Grant and Leona Siegenthaler; his aunts Nancy Pender and Joan Kidd; and first cousins Joshuia Pender and Colby Murphy.
The family has announced no service at this time and asks for prayers in lieu of flowers.
