Residents and visitors in Coastal Nassau, Coastal Flagler, Northeast Coastal St. Johns, Southeast Coastal St. Johns, Coastal Glynn, and Coastal Camden counties are advised of a Rip Current Statement and Coastal Flood Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Jacksonville FL.

A High Rip Current Risk is in effect through late Saturday night, October 11, at 6:00 AM EDT. Dangerous rip currents are expected during this period. For your safety, swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and float. Do not swim against the current. If able, swim in a direction following the shoreline. If you cannot escape, face the shore and call or wave for help.
