Depot 303's operations manager Jonathan Bucklew asked Mulberry's Community Redevelopment Agency on August 25 to fund $10,000 in marketing and $4,000 in accessibility improvements for the fiscal year 2026-2027.

The marketing budget supports a 12-month campaign including direct mail to South Lakeland, social media ads on Instagram and Facebook, print ads in Lakelander and LKLD magazines, and billboards targeting Polk County visitors.

The accessibility funds will purchase outdoor patio furniture and install automated doors at an entrance damaged by wheelchairs. Mayor Hatch and Assistant City Attorney Crawford endorsed the door installation as necessary to improve access for all visitors.

The CRA will finalize the budget proposal.
