Mulberry commissioners require all current project partners to unanimously approve any new additions to collaborative agreements, with different financial and resource recalculations depending on project timing.

The Mulberry City Commission approved a new agreement clause Tuesday that requires unanimous written consent from all current parties before adding new participants to collaborative projects.
The change standardizes how entities join existing agreements and protects current stakeholders' interests. When a new partner joins before Phase 2 begins, the cost-sharing formula must be recalculated. If a partner joins after Phase 2 approval, water allocations for all existing participants must be adjusted.
The provision applies to projects involving shared resources across Polk County.
