Last week was not a very fun mental place to be after throwing one away."

With this victory, Briscoe moved up three spots in the Chase standings. He now sits 84 points behind the leader with five races remaining in the season. His win also prevented Larson's No. 5 team from extending their lead significantly at the postseason's halfway point. The Chase continues next week at Charlotte.
