As of 3:32 PM EDT on October 10, strong thunderstorms are tracking north at 20 mph, capable of producing a landspout and wind gusts up to 50 mph. Doppler radar indicates these storms are along a line extending from 9 miles west of Sparr to near Moss Bluff.
Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include Ocala, Interlachen, Fort McCoy, Salt Springs, Citra, Lynne, Hawthorne, Lake Delancy, Sparr, and Moss Bluff.
In addition to the landspout threat, these storms are producing torrential rainfall, which may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
