Strong Thunderstorms Approaching: Prepare for Gusty Winds

At 1:38 PM EDT, Doppler radar detected strong thunderstorms near Anthony, approximately 7 miles north of Ocala, moving north at 30 mph. These storms are capable of producing wind gusts up to 40 mph, which could knock down tree limbs and displace unsecured objects. Locations that may be impacted include Ocala, Rainbow Lakes Estates, Citra, Fort McCoy, Lynne, Salt Springs, Hawthorne, Anthony, and Sparr.
