Wind Advisory Issued: Gusts Up To 50 MPH Expected
A Wind Advisory is in effect for Morris, Hunterdon, Chester, Montgomery, and Upper Bucks counties until Sunday at noon, with gusts up to 50 mph expected; secure outdoor objects and use caution while driving.
A Wind Advisory has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Mount Holly NJ, effective immediately until noon EDT Sunday, September 27th.
Residents in Morris and Hunterdon Counties in New Jersey, and Eastern Chester, Upper Bucks, Western Chester, and Western Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, should prepare for north winds of 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. While a temporary lull in winds may occur later today into this evening, increased wind activity is expected overnight into Sunday morning.
These strong winds can make driving difficult, particularly for high-profile vehicles. The NWS advises using extra caution on the roads. Additionally, unsecured outdoor objects could be blown around, and there is a possibility of tree limbs being blown down and isolated power outages. Secure all outdoor items to prevent damage or injury.
