Wind Advisory Expiring for Region, Continues for Monmouth and Ocean Counties

A Wind Advisory issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) Mount Holly NJ is set to expire for most of the region today, September 27, 2026, at 12:00 PM EDT. This advisory affected New Castle, Kent, Inland Sussex, Delaware Beaches, Sussex, Warren, Morris, Hunterdon, Somerset, Middlesex, Mercer, Salem, Gloucester, Camden, Northwestern Burlington, Cumberland, Atlantic, Cape May, Atlantic Coastal Cape May, Coastal Atlantic, Southeastern Burlington, Carbon, Monroe, Berks, Lehigh, Northampton, Delaware, Philadelphia, Western Chester, Eastern Chester, Western Montgomery, Eastern Montgomery, Upper Bucks, and Lower Bucks counties.

Winds are expected to continue their gradual diminishing trend. However, the NWS states that the Wind Advisory will remain in effect for Monmouth and Ocean Counties in New Jersey, where winds are anticipated to diminish at a slightly slower rate. Residents in these areas should continue to exercise caution.
