We are committed to enforcing the law by investigating and aggressively prosecuting criminal activity throughout Mifflin County. We seek justice in our courts, recommend appropriate punishment for those who commit crimes, and provide competent assistance to victims of crime. In doing so, we ensure that justice is done in a fair, effective and efficient manner. Located on the first floor of the Courthouse, Domestic Relations is the branch of the Court of Common Pleas designated to handle the establishment and enforcement of Court orders relating to spousal and child support. These services are controlled by local, state and federal rules and regulations which are strictly applied in all cases. When calling our office, please be informed that a professional and courteous Client Service Representative will assist you with all of your questions regarding your case. In the event that further discussion is necessary with your Conference Enforcement Officer (CEO) if a question cannot be answered, you will be transferred to that person if available, or the CEO will return your call. Pursuant to a new mandate from the state, all cash, credit, and debit card payments are to be made via the Kiosk located outside of the Domestic Relations Office. Service/Convenience Fees apply. Beaver County - Jury Services Skip to Content Notice of Data Security Incident: For more information please view the BCBH Notice Of Cyber Incident page. × Jury Services The primary duty and responsibility of the Jury Services is to oversee and maintain the integrity of the process by which jurors are selected. The Jury Management system utilizes a two-step process to qualify and summon jurors. First, from a Master List, generated by the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts, individuals are randomly selected and then mailed a juror questionnaire. This master list is compiled from information from a variety of government entities, including the Department of State and PennDOT. Second, eligible citizens are then placed in the Pool of Qualified Jurors. As the needs of the court require, qualified jurors are selected at random and mailed a Summons to Appear for a specific service date. The number of names drawn for each term of Court is set by Court Order from the President Judge. Services Provide a supply of Jurors to the Beaver County Court of Common Pleas. Supply as needed Jurors to the Beaver County Coroner’s Office. Assist Jurors in filling out questionnaire’s and letters of excusal. Complete explanation of concerns or questions pertaining to jury duty experience. Adequate amount of jurors for arrival for jury duty on a given day. Update and implement jurors selected at random from a representative cross-section of the eligible population of the county. We believe in an open door policy. By helping to solve problems, Jury Services benefit by gaining valuable insight into possible problems with existing methods, procedures and approaches. While there may not always be an easy answer or solution to every concern, as a prospective juror you have the opportunity at all times, through the open door policy, to be heard. Welcome To The Office Of The Clerk Of Courts Judy R. Enslen Clerk Of Courts The Office of Clerk of Courts is located on the second floor of Building B of the Beaver County Courthouse. The public is welcome to visit us at any time, as the Courthouse is "your house". You can view public web docket sheets at Pennsylvania's Judicial System Web Portal. We are now offering online payment for fines and costs. Just visit the ePay page at Pennsylvania's Judicial System Web Portal. Services All matters of a criminal nature are maintained by the Clerk of Courts. Therefore, all motions or petitions having a direct affect on a particular case are filed with the Clerk of Courts Office. The Clerk of Courts Office has the responsibility to notify the defendant and his or her attorney whenever any matter is filed in a case. Additionally more than 5,000 collection statements are mailed each month to criminal defendants who are required to pay fines and costs. Other services include: Processing of expungements. Bail bonds Microfilming and archiving all records. Collection of all court imposed fines, costs and restitution and distributing those collections to Beaver County, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Municipalities, and restitution to crime victims processing fingerprint cards for individuals who are applying for a Private Detective License or a Private Detective who wishes to hire individuals to work for their agency. Completing record searches for the municipal police departments, the Pennsylvania State Police, outside government agencies and for the Department of Public Welfare. A sampling of the reports this office must complete are as follows: Notify the Department of Transportation of every conviction or acquittal related to a Motor Vehicle Offense and certain Drug Offenses. Complete a detailed report to the Administrative Office of Pennsylvania Courts on each case disposition. Prepare County Jail commitments and all commitments to the various State Correctional Institutions. Prepare and distribute Bench Warrants, process Orders for Transfer Of Prisoner and Bail Bonds. Prepare and compile all appeals to Superior Court, Supreme Court and Commonwealth Court. Request suspension of operating privilege for nonpayment of court-imposed fines. Costs and restitution. Conduct arraignments, and assist the Court of Common Pleas in any manner possible.
