Key Biscayne Councilmember Candidate Qualifying Period for 2026 Elections Concludes

The qualifying period for candidates seeking the Office of Councilmember in the 2026 Village Elections has concluded. Key Biscayne residents interested in serving had from 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Monday, August 10, 2026, until 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Thursday, August 20, 2026, to file their paperwork.

To qualify, individuals had to be a qualified elector and a resident of the Village of Key Biscayne for at least one year prior to their filing date. All prospective candidates were required to complete and submit their qualifying paperwork to the Village Clerk by the August 20 deadline.
