A Storm Surge Warning has been issued for the Coastal Gulf area, including Port Saint Joe and Cape San Blas, effective immediately as of October 8 at 8:01 AM EDT by the National Weather Service (NWS) Tallahassee. This is an extreme threat, and residents are urged to take immediate action.
Life-threatening storm surge flooding of greater than 6 feet above ground is possible. Evacuation efforts should be completed now before conditions become unsafe.
