Jet Access Aviation Achieves IS-BAO Progressive Stage 3 Safety Certification
Jet Access Aviation, a premier full-service aviation management, charter, maintenance, FBO, and aircraft brokerage provider has announced its operation has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO™) Progressive Stage 3 registration. The IS-BAO is developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations as a recommended voluntary code of best practices designed to help flight operations achieve high levels of safety and professionalism in their operations around the world. IS-BAO is a safety standard distinctly recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in its Global Aviation Safety Plan. This IS-BAO Stage 3 recognition verifies that Jet Access Aviation’s safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained. The Progressive option is exclusively offered to Stage 3 operators that are looking to replace the traditional ‘once every-few-years’ audit with shorter, high-value quarterly check-ins and annual audits that support steady improvement and sustained progress. “Achieving IS-BAO Progressive Stage 3 isn’t just a milestone; it’s validation of how Jet Access operates every day, at the highest level of safety and performance in the industry,” said Quinn Ricker, CEO. “This is the most advanced stage of IS-BAO, and it reflects a culture where safety isn’t simply managed; it’s mastered, measured, and relentlessly elevated. When you combine this with our other safety ratings, placing us in the less-than-1% category, 0.7% to be exact, of U.S. charter operators, the picture becomes undeniable, Jet Access isn’t operating at the industry standard, we’re defining it. Safety isn’t an aspiration for us. It’s the baseline we operate from, and the benchmark others are working to reach.” Andrew Karas, Director, IS-BAO Programme, said, “Congratulations to the entire team at Jet Access Aviation, they should be very proud of this achievement. As a highly recognized and voluntary international standard, it represents their ongoing commitment to safety. The progressive option allows operators a choice of the auditing process and for some this can provide additional inspiration for their continuous improvement journey with more touchpoints and insight over the same timeline.” “Achieving IS-BAO Progressive Stage 3 reflects the strength of our Safety Management System and the discipline of our team in executing it every day. This level of achievement isn’t simply about compliance; it demonstrates a mature, proactive safety culture where risk is continuously identified, managed, and improved upon,” Maria Kelly, Jet Access Vice President of Safety, said. She added, “Every member of our organization plays an active role in that system. Through consistent evaluation, refinement, and accountability, we don’t just meet industry best practices, we operate beyond them and continue to raise the standard for others in business aviation.” About Jet Access Jet Access is a premier, vertically integrated, fully transparent, full-service aviation management company. Built on decades of leadership and expertise in the aviation sector, Jet Access is dedicated to making private jet travel safe, seamless, transparent, and comfortable. The Jet Access ecosystem encompasses Charter Services, Aircraft Management, Maintenance, Brokerage, Fixed-Base Operations (FBO) Services, and Flight Training. IBAC promotes and manages the industry-leading standards for best safety practices through its International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAOTM); International Standard for Business Aviation Handling (IS-BAHTM); Safety Management Tool Kit; SMS eLearning training; and internationally recognized Crew Card. Zionsville Library Celebrates Local Youth Artists Through March Program
Every year the month of March allows the Library to highlight the spectacular art of our local students for Youth Art Month. Thanks to a designated grant, the Library is then able to purchase a piece of art from those presented to be housed in the Teen Area on the second floor of our Zionsville location. The artwork is selected by library staff by popular vote. This year, we selected two pieces of artwork. One is a foam statue of a parent and baby rabbit reading a book called Bunny Love by 9th Grader, Liora Erickson. The other is a photograph titled Starkey Park Bridge by 11th Grader, Tristan Faber. A commemorative bookmark will be distributed highlighting this artwork later in the year. The post Youth Art Month – 2026 appeared first on Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library.
Robert Adams, Former Lebanon High School Coach, Dies at 71
Robert (Bob) Kenneth Adams, 71, a devoted father, husband, grandfather, uncle, coach, and friend, passed away on May 27th, 2026 in Indianapolis, Indiana.Born on January 17th, 1955, in Elkhart Indiana, Bob was raised by his parents, Irene and Bob Adams. After graduating from school, Bob became an art teacher. After losing much of his eyesight, Bob retired as an educator, but then in 1999 he became an assistant boys baseball coach at Lebanon High School, where he was able to continue shaping the hearts and minds of young men for the next 25 years. On September 2nd, 1978, Bob married his soulmate and love of his life, Debra Dawn Bragg. Bob and Debbie Adams then spent the next 48 years together as an inseparable team that defined what it truly means to be happily married. Their love and commitment to one another was nothing short of inspirational and permeates throughout the beautiful family they built together. As a father, Bob was a man of few words whose actions said everything. He understood that actions speak louder than words, and his actions always made it clear to everyone just how much he loved his family. He taught his children lessons to live by… work hard and laugh hard…show patience to the ones you love and empathy to the ones you don’t… have courage and be kind.Bob loved watching sports with his family, particularly Notre Dame Football, IU Basketball, and Chicago Cubs Baseball. He enjoyed making all the food for the family gatherings but humbly letting Debbie have the credit for the delicious meals. Bob became quite the mixologist, inventing new drinks and cocktails for his nieces and nephews to try at every family function. His frozen drinks were always a hit, leaving everyone wondering what he’ll come up with for next time. Bob also took a lot of pride in his and Debbie’s home. He loved spending time working in his yard, making it beautiful and welcoming to everyone. If it was nice outside, you’d either find Bob and Debbie working hard out in their front yard, or you’d find them relaxing and enjoying each other along with their family in the back yard.Bob is survived by his loving and devoted wife Debbie Adams; his children Kyle Biesecker, Laura Biesecker, Ashley Christian, and Daniel Christian; his grandchildren Addie Biescker, Harper Biesecker, and Lily Christian, and his daughter by heart Rorie Wood.Services will be held this Friday, June 5th 2026, at Simplicity Funeral Home, 125 W. Sycamore Street, Zionsville, IN 46077. Geoffrey Newcomb, Mathematics Teacher and Musician, Dies at 89
Geoffrey Anthony Newcomb, 89, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026. Born September 7, 1936, Geoff lived a life defined by quiet devotion — to his family, his faith, his students, and the many small crafts that bring meaning to a well-lived life.Geoff spent his career as a high school mathematics and computer teacher, guiding generations of students with patience and precision. He carried that same steady hand into everything he did. He was, in the truest sense of the phrase, a gentleman.Faith was at the center of Geoff’s life. He was deeply involved in his church community at Spirit of Grace in West Bloomfield, Michigan, where he led the handbell choir for several years. The discipline and beauty of that music suited him — it required care, timing, and trust in the people standing beside you, all things Geoff understood instinctively. His curiosity and craftsmanship reached into every corner of his days. He built and maintained an intricate world of model trains, kept a stamp collection that grew over decades, and rarely missed a chance to work a Sudoku puzzle. He had a passion for photography and a good eye for the moments worth keeping. A lifelong learner, he was a devoted reader of nonfiction — always curious about how things worked and how the world came to be the way it is. He tended his garden with the same patient attention he brought to everything else, and was handy in the way that fathers of his generation were handy — there was no project around the house he wouldn’t take on. He loved the outdoors, especially time spent on the water in a rowboat or canoe, and many happy hours camping.Geoff was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marianne, and by his siblings Nancy, Roland, Cyrenius (“Peter”), Ethan, Cyrena, Tyana, and Kimrie. He is survived by his daughter Megan and her husband Leung, and their children Lillian and Jaden; his son Brian and his wife Jennifer, and their children Aleister, Saige, and Deakon. He leaves behind a family shaped by his example — his kindness, his steadiness, and his belief that a life of small, faithful acts adds up to something lasting.A memorial service will be held at Spirit of Grace Church, West Bloomfield, MI on July 18, 2026, at 11am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Spirit of Grace Church, or to a charity of your choice.

Zionsville Library Launches Board Game Checkout Program
Board Games Are Coming to the Zionsville Branch! HMMPL is excited to announce that board games will soon be available for checkout with your library card at the Zionsville Branch! Whether you enjoy strategy games, party games, cooperative adventures, or classic favorites, this collection is designed to bring people together through play. The board games will be located in the Teen & Adult area of the library and will include a wide variety of game types and difficulty levels so patrons of all experience levels can find something fun to try. Patrons may check out up to two games at a time, and games will circulate for 14 days. HMMPL patrons will be able to place games on hold using their library card, making it easy to plan your next game night at home with friends or family! The goal of this project is to create opportunities for our community to discover—or renew their sense of play, not just during our regular gaming programs. Board games encourage communication, creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills, all while creating memorable experiences together. Including a diverse range of games is especially important because it gives patrons the chance to explore different game mechanics, themes, and styles of play before committing to purchasing games themselves. We envision HMMPL as a welcoming space where everyone can connect, learn, and have fun together through games. A huge thank you to the Friends of the Library for awarding a grant to Jessica Frazier, Teen & Adult Services Librarian, to help make this project possible! We can’t wait to share this collection with the community! Here is a link to see what games are being processed right now One important thing to remember is that these games need to be returned to the Zionsville branch at the Teen & Adult reference desk. They may NOT be placed in any return bins (inside or outside of the building). The post Game On! appeared first on Hussey-Mayfield Memorial Public Library.
