Jet Access Aviation, a premier full-service aviation management, charter, maintenance, FBO, and aircraft brokerage provider has announced its operation has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO™) Progressive Stage 3 registration.

Jet Access Aviation, a premier full-service aviation management, charter, maintenance, FBO, and aircraft brokerage provider has announced its operation has achieved the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO™) Progressive Stage 3 registration. The IS-BAO is developed by the International Business Aviation Council (IBAC) and its member associations as a recommended voluntary code of best practices designed to help flight operations achieve high levels of safety and professionalism in their operations around the world. IS-BAO is a safety standard distinctly recognized by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) in its Global Aviation Safety Plan. This IS-BAO Stage 3 recognition verifies that Jet Access Aviation’s safety management activities are fully integrated into the operator’s business and that a positive safety culture is being sustained. The Progressive option is exclusively offered to Stage 3 operators that are looking to replace the traditional ‘once every-few-years’ audit with shorter, high-value quarterly check-ins and annual audits that support steady improvement and sustained progress. “Achieving IS-BAO Progressive Stage 3 isn’t just a milestone; it’s validation of how Jet Access operates every day, at the highest level of safety and performance in the industry,” said Quinn Ricker, CEO. “This is the most advanced stage of IS-BAO, and it reflects a culture where safety isn’t simply managed; it’s mastered, measured, and relentlessly elevated. When you combine this with our other safety ratings, placing us in the less-than-1% category, 0.7% to be exact, of U.S. charter operators, the picture becomes undeniable, Jet Access isn’t operating at the industry standard, we’re defining it. Safety isn’t an aspiration for us. It’s the baseline we operate from, and the benchmark others are working to reach.” Andrew Karas, Director, IS-BAO Programme, said, “Congratulations to the entire team at Jet Access Aviation, they should be very proud of this achievement. As a highly recognized and voluntary international standard, it represents their ongoing commitment to safety. The progressive option allows operators a choice of the auditing process and for some this can provide additional inspiration for their continuous improvement journey with more touchpoints and insight over the same timeline.” “Achieving IS-BAO Progressive Stage 3 reflects the strength of our Safety Management System and the discipline of our team in executing it every day. This level of achievement isn’t simply about compliance; it demonstrates a mature, proactive safety culture where risk is continuously identified, managed, and improved upon,” Maria Kelly, Jet Access Vice President of Safety, said. She added, “Every member of our organization plays an active role in that system. Through consistent evaluation, refinement, and accountability, we don’t just meet industry best practices, we operate beyond them and continue to raise the standard for others in business aviation.” About Jet Access Jet Access is a premier, vertically integrated, fully transparent, full-service aviation management company. Obetz Athletic Club Announces Membership Rate and Policy Changes

We want to inform you of proposed changes to OAC rates and services; Council discussed them at the Committee of the Whole on April 13, held the first reading on April 27, and will vote on May 11th. If the changes are Council approved, they will go into effect on June 1, 2026. Monthly Membership Rates Junior (Resident & Non-Resident): $15 Adult (Resident): $20 Adult (Non-Resident): $35 Senior (Resident): $7 Senior (Non-Resident): $25 Personal Training $30 per session Golf Simulator Updates Simulators will be members-only (no day pass access) Simulator Rental Rates: Resident: $50 per 2-hour block Non-Resident: $100 per 2-hour block Up to four Obetz Athletic Club members can use a rented bay at a time Why Are These Changes Being Proposed? The Obetz Athletic Club has not raised membership rates since opening in 2010. We have always tried to keep prices low for our community. Since then, costs have gone up for staffing, supplies, and maintenance. Right now, the gym is losing money at a level that cannot continue long-term. These changes will help reduce that gap while still keeping prices affordable compared to other gyms. Auto-Billing Update As memberships expire after June 1, we will begin transitioning all memberships to an auto-billing format. This process will be completed in person. This change will help reduce lapses in memberships and improve access control to the facility. Please bring updated proof of residency at that time. Youth members must have a parent or guardian present during enrollment. A Note to Our Members We know rate increases are not easy. This decision was not made lightly. Our goal is to keep the Obetz Athletic Club clean, safe, and high-quality for years to come. Thank you for your understanding and support. The Obetz Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing on May 13, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Obetz Government Center located at 4175 Alum Creek Drive to review a request for a Conditional Use Permit at 4685 Groveport Road for a wall.   The Applicant, Shasta Beverages, is adding a CO2 tank necessitating the need for a new 60’ section of wall to screen the tank.  The existing wall will be removed.  A copy of the above request can be reviewed at the Obetz Government Center during normal business hours.
