Clearwater Family Finds Stable Home Through Habitat for Humanity
Adyl Ziane, a propane delivery driver at AmeriGas, and his wife Hanane Hilali, who works at Macy's, recently moved their three sons into a Habitat for Humanity home in Clearwater.
The family had struggled with rising rent and poor living conditions before joining the program. "It gave us hope and motivation, and our first thought was about our children finally having a stable and safe home," Ziane said.
Their sons Imrane, 14, Yasser, 11, and Jad, 7, will now have space to pursue their interests. Imrane plays soccer, basketball, and football at a local recreation center. Yasser enjoys video games and technology. Jad spends time outdoors at the park.
Ziane earned his Class A commercial driver's license from Pinellas Technical College. He said the home gives his family independence and the chance to plan for the future. "Home is where our family feels safe, supported, and together," he said.
