The Dust Storm Warning issued for Maricopa and Pinal Counties has expired as of 1:45 PM MST today, October 10. The National Weather Service (NWS) Phoenix AZ confirmed that the dust storm which prompted the warning has weakened.

While the severe warning is no longer in effect, residents should remain aware that areas of blowing dust with low visibility may still occur at times.

The warning was initially issued at 1:39 PM MST and was effective until 1:45 PM MST today, October 10, 2026.
