Zephyrhills: Julio Angel Rivera Dies at 56
Julio Angel Rivera, a long-time Zephyrhills resident, died Sept. 22, 2026, at the age of 56. He is survived by his wife, two sons, father, step-children and grandchildren.

Julio Angel Rivera, a Zephyrhills resident for nearly four decades, died Sept. 22, 2026. He was 56.
Rivera moved to Florida from New York in 1984. He was known for his friendly demeanor and dedication to his family. He enjoyed mowing his lawn near the Zephyrhills Municipal Golf Course and playing games.
He is survived by his wife of over 31 years, April Harrison; his sons, Julio and Christopher Rivera; his father, Julio Rivera Vasquez; step-son Allen Yater (Kaitlin Garey); and step-daughter Jennifer Williams. His grandchildren, Gavin, Tay, Blaine and Jordan, also survive him.
Rivera also leaves behind his dog, Lucky, and cat, Daisy, and numerous friends and extended family members. Private family services will be held.
