Barbara J. Schultes, a 79-year-old Zephyrhills resident known for her careers as an accountant and travel agent, died Sept. 25, 2026. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.

Barbara J. Schultes, a longtime Zephyrhills resident, died Sept. 25, 2026. She was 79.
Schultes worked as an accountant and travel agent. Before moving to Zephyrhills, she was active in several organizations, including the St. Clair Shores Jaycees and Jaycets, the Catholic Kolping Society, and the Shores Boat Club. She also contributed to the Miss St. Clair Shores Scholarship Pageant, the Lac Ste. Clair Fine Art Fair, and was part of the GMC Corvette Set.
Schultes enjoyed gardening, creating diamond dotz art, and crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Kim Schulte and Paul (Anna) Schultes; her life companion, James (Jim) Farless; her grandchildren, Sarah (Taylor) Alley and Jonas Schultes; and her great-grandchild, Marco Alley.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Schultes; her parents, George and Virginia Herbertson; and her sister, Mary Williams.
