Nassau County SHIP Program: Down Payment Assistance

Yulee residents can apply for down payment and closing cost assistance through Nassau County's State Housing Initiative Partnership (SHIP) Program, which also covers home rehabilitation for owner-occupied properties.

The Florida Housing Finance Corporation distributes SHIP funds to local governments. Nassau County's SHIP Division manages the program locally. The county's Board of Commissioners selected Accenture to assist with administration.

Applicants must own their home, live in it as their primary residence, earn within specified income limits, and not have received SHIP assistance in the past 10 years. Mobile homes don't qualify. Residents must complete an application and provide required documentation.
