Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Training Research indicates once the heart stops beating unexpectedly or when blood flow stops, a person will lose consciousness within 15 seconds. In that time, a critical incident can quickly turn into a deadly one. This is because time is of the essence when treating a cardiac arrest victim. The American Red Cross has courses that are beneficial to both businesses and individuals. North Miami employees took part in training provided by a certified Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) instructor to better assist in times of need. Information is available on providing training for employees at your business or family members at home. Access to products, training, and certification is available on the American Red Cross website. Take the first step in becoming empowered to save a life by learning how to properly administer chest compressions.

City Contractor to Begin Collecting Hurricane Debris Mid-Week

The City of Mary Esther is contracting with DRC Emergency Services to clean up debris from Hurricane Isaias. Crews are expected to begin work mid-week. To help facilitate the cleanup process, we have the following guidelines: Only clean vegetative debris (trees, limbs, etc.) and storm-related wood debris (fences, docks, etc.) will be accepted. Please keep vegetative debris in a separate pile from fences, docks and other construction debris. Pile storm debris at the curb, well away from hydrants, mailboxes and above-ground utility boxes. Pile debris loose; DO NOT put debris in bags. No hazardous waste or non-organic material. There are no scheduled days for hurricane debris pickup. Simply place it at the curb and crews will remove it as they work through their routes. DRC will make several passes through neighborhoods over the next two to three weeks to ensure that all debris is collected. For questions, call City Hall at 850-243-3566.

Your spot will then be offered to the next person on our waitlist. One of the premiere luxuries of being a North Palm Beach resident is access to launch boats and personal watercrafts from the Anchorage Park Marina Boat Ramp at 603 Anchorage Drive. A Permit Decal is required to launch any trailered item from the boat ramp. This decal is for North Palm Beach residents and business owners only. Decal Pricing: First Decal: $100 Additional Decals: $10 each This is an annual purchase that begins every October 1st. All decals expire every September 30th.
