AUGUSTA, GA (September 14, 2026) - Augusta Utilities will conduct emergency work beginning this afternoon on Broad Street at the intersection of Crawford Avenue.

AUGUSTA, GA (September 14, 2026) - Augusta Utilities will conduct emergency work beginning this afternoon on Broad Street at the intersection of Crawford Avenue. Traffic will be reduced to one lane, and a short detour will be in place while crews complete the necessary repairs. The traffic impacts are expected to continue through Friday, September 18, barring any unforeseen issues or complications. Motorists should expect delays and use an alternate route if possible. Augusta Utilities appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as crews work safely and efficiently to complete these emergency repairs. Emergency Road Closure - Pleasant Home Rd

Pleasant Home Road is temporarily closed to all through traffic between Greengate Drive and Foxhall Drive. The closure is required while utility crews complete urgent emergency repairs to a gas line in the area.
