Urban Bicycle Trail at Salado Creek Project | Patterson, CA - Official Website Home Government Departments Engineering Services Capital Projects Division Patterson Urban Bicycle Trail Project Urban Bicycle Trail at Salado Creek Project Project Details The City of Patterson is excited to inform you that the City has been awarded funding through the Urban Greening Grant program, which is administered through the California Natural Resources Agency, for the Patterson Urban Bicycle Trail Project at Salado Creek. This project will be divided into two phases. Phase I work consists of constructing approximately 1,300 linear feet of new asphalt concrete bike and pedestrian trail along American Eagle Avenue from Calvinson Parkway to Sperry Avenue. An existing concrete culvert will be modified to create an undercrossing for the new trail under Sperry Avenue. Masonry and concrete retaining walls will be constructed along both sides of the approaches to the undercrossing. 273 trees will be planted along the path and a new irrigation system will be installed. The trail and undercrossing along the northern approach will be lighted. Project Status Project was awarded to Sinclair General Engineering Construction Inc. on October 17, 2023. Construction is scheduled to start June 2024. A groundbreaking ceremony was held on May 28, 2024.

Emergency Road Closure - Pleasant Home Rd

Pleasant Home Road is temporarily closed to all through traffic between Greengate Drive and Foxhall Drive. The closure is required while utility crews complete urgent emergency repairs to a gas line in the area. Drivers needing to bypass the work zone should follow the marked detour route using Toucan Road and Ravenwood Drive. While local access will be maintained for residents who live within the affected block, everyone traveling through the area should expect minor delays, exercise caution around work crews, and allow extra time to reach their destinations.

The closure will be in effect between Broad Street and 126 8th Street, and the installation is scheduled to be completed by September 28. During this period, onsite detours will be in place to guide motorists around the work zone, and drivers should expect construction activity and temporary traffic shifts in the area.
