Hartridge Academy Opens 2026-2027 Enrollment Under Controlled Plan

Hartridge Academy is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year. The school emphasizes its commitment to equal opportunity with a nondiscrimination policy for students and employees.

Under the academy's controlled enrollment, the school uses a lottery system when applicant numbers exceed available openings for a grade, class, or program. Applicants who apply during the open enrollment period enter a random drawing first. Those applying after the open period join a separate waiting pool and are considered after timely applicants.

Hartridge Academy requires families to reapply annually, as applications are discarded at the end of each school year. Enrollment applications received outside the announced open period do not enter the primary waiting pool for timely applicants.

The enrollment process follows state guidelines, including provisions within HB 7069. This legislation allows charter schools, under specific circumstances, to exempt from certain controlled open enrollment rules. This permits charter schools to accept any student covered by an interdistrict agreement and any student residing within the school district where the charter school is located, connecting families across Polk County.
