WINTER HAVEN – Hartridge Academy has earned recognition from the Florida Department of Education as a "high-performing" charter school. The designation acknowledges the school's focus on academic achievement and student success.
For the 2025 and 2026 school years, Hartridge Academy also qualified as a Title I school. This classification means most students qualify for services outside of school and provides the academy with additional funding. All students at Hartridge Academy are eligible for free breakfast, lunch, and meals during free after-school tutoring sessions.
The additional Title I funding will support free after-school tutoring programs and parent engagement initiatives. These programs aim to offer students extra academic support and strengthen connections between the school and families.
The school's improvement plan for 2025 is available for review. Information regarding Polk Schools' Title I programs can be found on the district's website. A School Advisory Council meeting occurred Jan. 21, 2026, to discuss school matters impacting students countywide.
