Westlake City Council Appoints Education Board Members

The Westlake City Council appointed five regular members and one alternate to its Education Advisory Board. The appointments were made through Resolution No. 2026-19, approved in August 2026.

Board members will serve one-year terms ending April 30, 2027. The board operates under the City of Westlake Code of Ordinances.

The resolution, titled "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WESTLAKE, FLORIDA, APPOINTING FIVE (5) MEMBERS AND ONE (1) ALTERNATE MEMBER TO SERVE ON THE EDUCATION ADVISORY BOARD; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE," also addresses conflicts, severability, and an effective date.
