CPSC Warns of Drowning Risk From Relaxing Baby Swim Floats

Staff Writer
May 14, 2026

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission warned consumers that "Relaxing Baby" Swim Floats can flip over or submerge children underwater.

The CPSC urges owners to puncture the floats at any inflation point, deflate them completely, and discard them immediately.

Parents should check swim floats in their homes to confirm they do not own the "Relaxing Baby" brand, particularly as families prepare for summer pool and beach season.
