Severe Thunderstorm Warning Expires for Lewis, KY and Scioto, OH

The Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Lewis County, Kentucky, and Scioto County, Ohio, has expired as of 5:15 PM EDT today, September 20. The National Weather Service in Wilmington, Ohio, reported that the storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits and no longer poses an immediate threat to life or property.

While the severe warning has ended, residents should be aware that gusty winds are still possible with this thunderstorm.
