Building Maintenance Tradesworker Jobs in Temple Terrace
The City of Temple Terrace Public Works Department is hiring a Building Maintenance Tradesworker for its Operations/Maintenance Division. The position pays $23.33 to $25.66 hourly.
The tradesworker will repair, modify, and maintain city buildings and facilities, applying skills in carpentry, masonry, painting, plastering, roofing, and flooring. The Deputy Director of Public Works reviews work through observation, conferences, and results.
Applicants must hold a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Florida driver's license. They need at least one year of experience in building maintenance or a construction trade, or trade school equivalent. Candidates should know standard tools, equipment, and methods of building maintenance and repair work, read blueprints, and estimate job time. They must lift objects up to 75 pounds routinely and 50 pounds overhead, climb ladders, and work at heights.
