Palm Harbor Grad Auditions for 'The Voice'

Palm Harbor University High School graduate Lexi Stephens appeared on the blind auditions of NBC's "The Voice" Tuesday night. The episode was part of the singing competition's three-night season premiere.

Stephens, who attended Palm Harbor Middle School before graduating high school in 2021, was vice president of the campus a cappella group, The After School Specials. She posted on Instagram that stepping onto the stage was "SURREAL," fulfilling a lifelong dream of appearing on the show.

After high school, Stephens studied musical theater and songwriting at the Boston Conservatory at Berklee. She now lives in New York City and maintains a TikTok page with over 13,000 followers, where she posts cover songs.

Stephens previously auditioned for "American Idol" in 2023, reportedly receiving a Golden Ticket for season 21, though her audition did not air.

The Pinellas County Schools Facebook page encouraged the community to support Stephens. Viewers can watch "The Voice" blind auditions continue Wednesday and Thursday at 8 p.m. on NBC.
