Jurassic Quest Brings Life-Sized Dinosaurs to Tampa This Weekend

Tampa residents can prepare for a prehistoric adventure as Jurassic Quest arrives at the Florida State Fair Expo Hall this weekend, from Friday, September 18, to Sunday, September 20, 2026. The event features North America’s largest traveling dinosaur experience, showcasing massive, life-size dinosaur replicas.

Families will find the Florida State Fair Expo Hall, located at 4800 US Hwy. 301 North, transformed into a journey through time. Attendees can encounter a 60-foot Spinosaurus, an 80-foot Apatosaurus, and a gigantic T. rex. The exhibit also includes an Ancient Oceans section with prehistoric marine life and the Frozen Frontier, which features Ice Age animals.

Interactive activities are central to the experience. Visitors can participate in Raptor Training, meet baby dinosaurs, enjoy dinosaur rides, and engage in fossil digs and science activities. The event also offers crafts, build stations, bounce houses, and games for all ages.

Jurassic Quest provides a Sensory & Mobility Friendly hour on Saturday, September 19, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. This dedicated time offers a quieter, more accessible experience for guests with sensory sensitivities and mobility needs.

Tickets for the event cost $26 and are available now. The event runs Friday, September 18, 2026, from 1 PM to 8 PM, with weekend hours extending through Sunday.
