Winter Weather Advisory: Up to 4 Inches of Snow, Gusty Winds Expected

Travelers in the Eastern Alaska Range South of Trims Camp should prepare for winter driving conditions today. The National Weather Service (NWS) in Fairbanks has issued a Winter Weather Advisory, effective immediately until 4 PM AKDT this afternoon, October 11.
Up to 4 inches of additional snow is expected, accompanied by winds gusting as high as 35 mph. These conditions are anticipated to make roads, particularly bridges, slick and snow-covered.
