Wardner to hold public meeting on City Park improvements and new playground
The City of Wardner is planning significant improvements to the City Park. This includes the construction of a new playground structure. A public meeting is scheduled for June 22, 2022, at 5:30 PM at the Wardner City Hall to discuss these plans and gather community input.
Wardner City Park Reopens with Community Celebration on June 17th
Wardner City Park Grand Re-Opening! Join us for a day of celebration as we officially re-open the Wardner City Park! Date: Saturday, June 17th Time: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Location: Wardner City Park (Corner of Main St and Park Ave) We'll have: * Free hot dogs and refreshments * Live music by local band 'The Shoshone Sound' * Games and activities for kids of all ages * Face painting * A special ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor John Smith at 1:00 PM Come and enjoy the newly renovated park facilities, including new playground equipment, updated picnic areas, and enhanced walking paths. This project was made possible by the dedicated efforts of our community volunteers and a grant from the Shoshone County Parks and Recreation Department. We look forward to seeing you there!
