TOTUM Market & Eatery recently opened at Harrison Residences, 1120 N. Nebraska Ave., in downtown Tampa. The new establishment offers organic groceries, prepared meals, fresh produce, flowers, snacks, pasta, home goods, and bread from over 20 local Tampa Bay Area vendors.

The market also features a cafe serving coffee from Paradeco Coffee Co. and a menu of sandwiches, pizzas, and salads. Its bar area includes a bottle shop with natural wines, craft spirits, and non-alcoholic beverages. Featured local vendors include The Sourdoughist, Pete's Bagels and The Hyppo.

The name TOTUM comes from the Latin phrase "tolle totum," meaning "nourish the whole." The market's mission is to "be the heart of our community wherever we go. A gathering place where nourishing, unique and wholesome food is not a luxury, but a way of life," according to a statement. TOTUM is open daily from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

A grand opening event is planned for later this month.
