
Ringling College Motion Design Ranked #1 Globally Again
Ringling College of Art and Design’s Motion Design program has secured the No. 1 global ranking for the third year in a row, according to The Rookies Global School Rankings released Oct. 6, 2026. The college also received high honors in other programs, including 3D Animation and Concept Art.

SARASOTA – Ringling College of Art and Design's Motion Design program has earned the No. 1 global ranking for the third consecutive year, according to The Rookies Global School Rankings released Oct. 6, 2026.
The program has consistently placed among the world's elite, holding a spot in the top two colleges for seven straight years. This latest ranking reaffirms its position as a leading institution for motion graphics artists and designers.
Beyond motion design, Ringling College received multiple high honors in the 2026 Global School Rankings. The institution ranked No. 6 worldwide for Top Creative Schools, placing it among the top three in the United States. Its 3D Animation program earned an No. 8 global ranking and No. 2 in the U.S., while Concept Art was ranked No. 7 globally and No. 1 in the U.S. The Game Design and Development program also achieved a No. 21 global ranking and No. 3 in the U.S.
In Production Excellence categories, Ringling College placed No. 12 globally and No. 2 in the U.S. for 3D Animation, No. 4 globally and No. 1 in the U.S. for Console Games, and No. 5 globally and No. 1 in the U.S. for Immersive Media.
The Rookies' rankings evaluate student work based on creative and technical skill, presentation, project diversity, and employment potential, as judged by a panel of industry professionals.
