San Antonio Commission Reviews Building Permits & Citations

The San Antonio City Commission met July 21, 2026, at 6 p.m. at 32819 Pennsylvania Avenue. Commissioners reviewed the consent agenda, including the June meeting minutes and financial reports for June 2026 from the General Fund and Water Fund. Public comment and reports from the Mayor, Attorney and commissioners followed.

Commissioner Bolender discussed Building and Zoning matters, including June building permits and the Fraternal Home Association Site Plan. Commissioner Drinkwine provided an update on Parks and Recreation. Commissioner Huckabee presented the second reading and public hearing for Ordinance 01-2026, which establishes a Citation Code Enforcement Program.

Commissioner Madden reported on the Waterworks department. The Clerk's Report included a discussion of vendor quotes and tentative budget rates and hearing dates.

Speakers addressing the commission identified themselves by name and address. Those planning to appeal decisions were reminded to ensure a verbatim record of the proceedings. Individuals needing accommodations due to disability should contact the City Clerk at 352-588-2127 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.

Speakers received three minutes to address the commission, unless granted additional time. The meeting also included time for unfinished business, new business, additional commissioner comments and announcements.
