Riverview School Embraces 'Community Helper Month' This September 2026

Riverview's local school designated September 2026 as 'Community Helper Month', focusing on 'Helpfulness and Caring for those in need'. The initiative aimed to engage students with various community roles and foster a sense of civic responsibility.

The month-long theme incorporated educational elements across the curriculum. Students learned about the letters Cc, Rr, and Qq, the diamond shape, and the color red. Numbers 1-3 were featured with a 'Calling all Community Helpers' theme. The curriculum also included the Bible story 'The Good Samaritan' and Scripture from Genesis 12-17.
