Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Riverside, San Bernardino Counties Until 2:30 PM PDT

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties until 2:30 PM PDT, urging residents to seek immediate shelter from 60 mph wind gusts.

Residents in parts of Riverside and San Bernardino Counties are advised to seek immediate shelter due to a Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued by the National Weather Service in San Diego.

The warning is in effect until 2:30 PM PDT today, October 10. At 2:01 PM PDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Yucaipa, moving north at 50 mph. This storm is capable of producing 60 mph wind gusts. A 65 mph gust was reported near Eden at 1:50 PM PDT.

Impacts include potential damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Affected locations include Moreno Valley, Redlands, Yucaipa, Forest Falls, Highland, Colton, San Jacinto, Beaumont, Banning, and surrounding areas.

For your protection, move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building immediately.
