Upcoming Services

Putnam County residents are advised of several upcoming service changes and community events that may impact their routines. The Putnam County Department of Public Works announced that street sweeping on Main Street in Carmel will commence next Monday, April 14, weather permitting. Residents are asked to move vehicles from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM to allow for efficient cleaning.

Additionally, the Putnam Valley Library will host its annual Spring Book Sale from April 18 to April 20. Proceeds from the sale will benefit new children's programming. Donations of gently used books are still being accepted at the library during operating hours.

Finally, the Brewster Senior Center will hold a free health screening event on April 22, offering blood pressure checks and glucose testing. Appointments are recommended and can be made by calling the center directly.
