Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Lawrence County Until 10:30 PM CDT

Residents in southeastern Lawrence County, Arkansas, are advised to take immediate shelter as a Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued until 10:30 PM CDT tonight, September 21, 2026. This warning, issued by the National Weather Service in Little Rock, indicates a severe thunderstorm located over Hoxie is moving southeast at 15 mph.

The primary hazards associated with this storm include 60 mph wind gusts and nickel-size hail. The National Weather Service warns that these conditions may cause damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Affected areas include Walnut Ridge, Hoxie, Portia, Minturn, Sedgwick, Lauratown, Dicus, Coffman, and Arbor Grove.
