City Offices Closed for President's Day Holiday
Winter Haven city administrative offices will be closed on Monday, February 17, 2025, in observance of the President's Day holiday. This includes departments such as City Hall in the historic downtown on Central Avenue, the Development Services Department, and the Utility Billing office.
Essential services, including police and fire departments, will continue to operate without interruption to ensure public safety and emergency response for Winter Haven residents. Waste Management will maintain its regular garbage and recycling collection schedule for the holiday. Residents whose collection day falls on Monday should place their bins out as usual.
City offices will resume normal business hours on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at 8:00 AM. Residents needing to conduct city business are encouraged to plan accordingly or utilize the city's online services available through the official Winter Haven website.
