The warning is effective immediately, October 10 at 10:56 AM MDT, and remains in effect until Monday, October 12 at 6:00 AM MDT. The National Weather Service (NWS) Great Falls MT has issued this alert.
Total snow accumulations between 10 and 20 inches are anticipated, with the highest amounts in the mountains south of US Highway 2. Winds are forecast to gust as high as 50 mph. These conditions could bring down tree branches, leading to isolated power outages. Roadways, especially at lower elevations, may see varying snow accumulation, primarily from evening through late morning hours.
