Martin County Sheriff's Office meets up with Donald Trump
President Donald Trump met with the Martin County Sheriff's deputies who apprehended Ryan Wesley Routh, the would-be assassin captured on September 15, following an assassination attempt at the Trump International Golf Club. Donald Trump contacted the Martin County Sheriff's Office to request that those involved in the apprehension, join him at Mar-a-Lago so he could personally thank them for their incredible work.

USACE St Lucie Lock and Dam
St. Lucie Lock and Dam on the St. Lucie Canal in Martin County, Florida, USA. The canal connects the Intracoastal Waterway with Lake Okeechobee and is a part of the Okeechobee Waterway, which cuts across central Florida and connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Gulf of Mexico. The lock is approximately 15 miles (24 km) upstream from the Intracoastal Waterway at Stuart, Florida. St. Lucie Lock and Dam is one of five locks and dams on the Okeechobee Waterway.

This $ 10 reward for runaway slave know as "SMART" was placed by Navy Agent George Willis in the Pensacola Gazette in July 1840. Willis worked at the Pensacola Navy Yard in the 1840's and leased his bondsmen to the Navy.
